## Chained

16 changes

[Pathway page](https://www.mysterria.net/en/pathways/chained)

- Added **Puppet Crafting** at Sequence 6. Activating the ability opens a management menu, and a basic puppet costs 32 Rotten Flesh, 16 Bones, and 16 String. Sequence 6 begins with one puppet slot, with one additional slot unlocked at every higher sequence. Stored puppets can be released as loyal Wild Beyonders, picked back up through the menu, or deconstructed. Their normal attacks combine Partial Werewolf Transformation with Freezing Touch, applying claw damage, Poison, Wither, freezing, and Slowness. Destroyed puppets become broken and display their last coordinates instead of disappearing permanently. A broken puppet can be repaired within 8 blocks of those coordinates for 16 Rotten Flesh, 8 Bones, and 8 String. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Puppet Crafting Connected Attacks** now opens a selection menu when crafting with a Spiritual Connection, allowing one supported Attack ability belonging to the connected player to be chosen. Existing connected puppets without an assigned attack request a selection before release. The selected ability is permanently assigned, appears in the puppet’s information menu, and casts with its real mechanics, the connected player’s sequence scaling, and its configured cooldown. Each puppet tracks its attack and cooldown independently, preventing interference between puppets and delayed abilities. Attacks use the puppet owner for party and Towny PvP checks. Connected-player data, health, and available attacks can be resolved while that player is offline. The Spiritual Connection item and selected attack are revalidated before crafting or release, with a clear error if either changed or became unavailable. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Puppet Crafting Persistence** now allows released puppets to remain released when their owner logs out and persist correctly across server restarts. Puppets restore at their saved locations instead of automatically becoming broken, while behavior centers persist across pickup, logout, and restart. Puppets destroyed while their owner is offline remain broken, and the owner receives their destruction coordinates after returning — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Puppet Crafting Behavior** now makes On a Walk puppets follow their owner non-aggressively instead of treating the owner as a combat target. Haunting and Aimless puppets can target nearby hostile mobs as well as valid players. Puppets no longer target their owner’s tamed creatures, summons, or other owned puppets and now use their intended 32-block targeting and behavior range. Puppets clear player targets and stop selecting new player targets while their owner is offline. Switching behavior clears stale targets and correctly applies the new movement, wandering, and targeting rules. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Puppet Crafting Infusions** can be applied by holding one supported item in the off-hand while crafting. Phantom Membrane grants a travelling Wraith Shriek with a 30-second cooldown. Creaking Heart increases size, movement speed, and attack speed by 50%. Sculk Catalyst increases size and maximum health by 50%. Gunpowder causes a delayed death explosion dealing 25% of maximum health to nearby valid enemies. Redstone grants splash potions that apply Weakness and Slowness. Prismarine Crystals reduce and reflect 10% of incoming damage. Totem of Undying redirects half of the owner’s incoming damage to the released puppet. Spider Eye reveals visible players within 32 blocks and reports when they enter or leave its sight. Trident creates a lightning death effect with light area damage. Puppet effects retain the correct owner and protection checks throughout execution, and Phantom Membrane shrieks no longer transform players into animals. Stored puppets return ordinary infusion items when deconstructed, but not Spiritual Connections. Broken puppets can now be deconstructed without repair and do not return their infusion. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Clothes Binding** now applies Slowness I when the bound target wears any armour and Slowness II when all four armour slots are filled. Bound players cannot begin gliding with an Elytra. Damage continues to scale with the number of equipped armour pieces and the caster’s sequence, and the same binding behavior is now applied consistently during possession and frenzy-related interactions. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Werewolf’s Curse**, **Zombie’s Curse**, and **Wraith’s Curse** now open a confirmation menu before accepting the relevant curse choice. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- Added **Werewolf Kin** as a Sequence 7 summon ability with a 60-second cooldown. Activating it prepares the user’s next empty-hand attack, which Poisons an eligible mob for 5 seconds before converting it into a loyal werewolf. Players, villagers, bosses, NPCs, summons, and Wild Beyonders cannot be converted. Up to three werewolves can be controlled at once; they remain for 30 minutes, follow and defend their creator, and teleport back when separated by more than 30 blocks. Their health equals 75% of their creator’s magical health, while their damage scales from Werewolf Claws. Successful conversions no longer also trigger Werewolf Claws damage. Invalid targets and a full summon limit no longer consume the prepared conversion or apply its Poison, while normal Werewolf Claws behavior is preserved when conversion is impossible. Summoned werewolves can receive their full scaled health at higher sequences, and large damage bursts can no longer kill them before that full health is depleted. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- Added **Undead Manipulation** at Sequence 6 with Zombie and Ghost summon modes. Zombie mode converts a nearby Skeleton, Zombie, Parched, Drowned, Bogged, or Husk into a controlled zombie wearing non-droppable leather armour with Speed III, Freezing Touch, full owner-scaled magical health, and scaled claw damage. Ghost mode converts a Phantom or Vex into a controlled ghost with 50% owner-scaled magical health and scaled claw damage. Every 45 seconds, a ghost can launch a travelling shriek that damages and hinders enemies and adds 10% Soul Instability to players. Controlled undead follow and defend their creator, respect ally and protection rules, and clean up when killed, expired, unloaded, or abandoned. Ghost shrieks no longer transform players into animals. Controlled zombies and ghosts can receive their full health at higher sequences, and large damage bursts can no longer kill them before that health is depleted. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Wraith Transformation** now allows Undead Manipulation and Connection Divination to be used while transformed into a Wraith. Wraith flight, disguise, glow tracking, and restoration data now clean up more reliably when logging out while transformed. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Connection Establishment** now requires continuous line of sight before a nearby player becomes available: 10 seconds at Sequence 4, 5 seconds at Sequence 3, and immediately at Sequence 2 or above. Breaking line of sight early resets that target’s progress, while an established target remains available until leaving the 48-block discovery radius. Discovery no longer sends repeated availability notifications. The selection menu now includes valid released connection puppets, which proxy their connected player for half the normal spirituality drain. Proxying sacrifices the puppet after 15 seconds, with 5 additional seconds for every sequence above Sequence 4, and clearly reports when the connected target is unavailable. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Possession** chat messages now correctly display the possessed creature’s readable name. Chat also uses a player’s active shapeshift identity instead of exposing their normal name, while players controlling a marionette speak using its current or permanently stored disguise identity. Entity identities are formatted into readable names. Wraith Transformation retains its existing special chat behavior and is excluded from the general shapeshift identity override. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Object Possession** now suppresses Poltergeist Frenzy only while possession is active instead of disabling the passive and applying an additional 15-second lockout. Poltergeist Frenzy resumes immediately when Object Possession ends while preserving whether the passive was enabled or disabled beforehand. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Poltergeist Frenzy** sessions now end cleanly when Object Possession begins and can no longer trigger or refresh while possession is active. Restored Poltergeist Frenzy’s decoy items during the automatic possession effects provided by Wraith Transformation and Evil Spirit. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Soul Instability** now begins decaying by 5% per second after the target goes 3 seconds without gaining additional instability. Its boss bar remains visible during decay instead of disappearing immediately after leaving a Wraith’s range. Instability gained near a Wraith now respects party protection and Towny PvP restrictions. Ending one Wraith Transformation no longer clears every player’s instability or removes glow effects maintained by another active Wraith. Instability, boss bars, glow effects, immunity tracking, and decay tasks now clean up correctly when the affected player disconnects. — commission for fish (Optuber)
- **Wraith Shriek** no longer transforms struck players into animals at higher sequences. It now respects party protection and Towny PvP restrictions before applying Slowness or Soul Instability. — commission for fish (Optuber)

## Twilight Giant

11 changes

[Pathway page](https://www.mysterria.net/en/pathways/giant)

- Added **Warrior’s Strike** at Sequence 9 as a configurable right-click weapon attack with a 5-second cooldown. Strike Point budgets scale as 4 points at Sequence 7, 5 at Sequence 5, 7 at Sequence 3, and 10 at Sequence 1. Power deals 16/24/32/40 damage while reducing normal reach. Ranged Slash unlocks at Sequence 7 for 3 points, reaches 14 blocks, and deals 30% less damage. Decapitation unlocks at Sequence 1 for 6 points and adds 24 damage against targets at or below 10% health. Blade coatings require confirmed damage, and targeting respects party, PvP, protection, and visibility rules. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- Added **Weapon Arts** at Sequence 7, replacing Armament Summon’s automatic orbiting weapons with two manually aimed techniques. **Sword Wind** has an 8-second cooldown, travels 12 blocks, strikes each target once, and stops at terrain or walls. **Heavy Slash** has a 12-second cooldown, deals more damage in a 6-block frontal cone, and launches struck enemies. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- Moved **Giant’s Physique** from Sequence 6 to Sequence 7. Player size now scales to 130% at Sequence 7, 150% at Sequence 5, 170% at Sequence 3, and 200% at Sequence 1. Sequence 5 grants complete knockback immunity and improved Resistance. From Sequence 3 onward, successful direct melee and sweep attacks apply Slowness for 2 seconds. Ability damage, projectiles, cancelled attacks, and attacks that deal no damage cannot trigger the Slowness. Size, Resistance, and knockback cleanup should now be more reliable. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- Added **Paladin’s Speed** as a Sequence 6 passive ability. Sprinting continuously along the ground builds momentum and grants additional movement speed. Jumping at maximum momentum launches the user significantly higher. Momentum falls when the user stops sprinting or begins swimming, gliding, flying, riding, or using Riptide. Its movement bonuses now clean up correctly after death, logout, deactivation, or pathway removal. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- **Weapons of Dawn** retains its original name through Sequence 3 and upgrade to **Weapons of Twilight** at Sequence 2. Its summoned weapons become the Greatsword, Axe, Spear, and Mace of Twilight at Sequence 2, while earlier sequences retain their Dawn names. Restored **Spear of Dawn** as its original single-target summoned melee weapon without an explosion or area attack. Summoned weapons should no longer be dropped, moved through inventories, retained after death, or left behind after logout or ability removal. Their ignition, acting progress, and other follow-up effects require confirmed damage, and weapon ownership handling should be more reliable. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- **Hurricane of Light** retains its original name through Sequence 3 and becomes **Hurricane of Twilight** at Sequence 2. Hurricane now accepts any active summoned Dawn or Twilight weapon instead of requiring a sword. Casting it dismisses that weapon and prevents it from reforming for 30 seconds. Hurricane has a 5-second wind-up, an expanded 8-block radius, and sequence-scaling damage. At Sequence 6 it affects only unholy pathways and undead, while later sequences affect all valid hostile targets. The storm creates eight scars that linger for up to 10 seconds and detonate when touched by a valid enemy. From Sequence 3 onward, confirmed hits apply Dawn Flame, draining 1.25% of maximum spirituality each second for up to 8 seconds after the latest hit. Damage and secondary effects now require confirmed damage, and wind-up Slowness should no longer interfere with effects from another source. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- **Silver Rapier** retains its original name at Sequence 3 and becomes **Twilight Blades** at Sequence 2. **Broadsword Imitation** remains available, creating a 20-block silver circle with a rotating damaging blade for up to 20 seconds. Fixed the invisible rear half of its rotating line damaging targets; only the visibly rendered forward blade can now hit. **Rapier Pierce** is now a ranged precision strike instead of teleporting the user and requires 1.5 seconds of uninterrupted aim on the same visible target within 20 blocks. Sequence 3 melee attacks continue to summon a delayed blade after 0.35 seconds on a 3-second trigger cooldown. The delayed blade misses if its target moves more than 3 blocks and cancels safely across world changes. Acting progress, visuals, and death messages now require confirmed damage. Sequence-specific names and task cleanup have also been corrected. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- Restored **Dawn Charge** at Sequence 6 as a mobility-only ability with a 20-second cooldown. It rushes up to 15 blocks and knocks valid enemies aside without dealing damage. Dawn Charge no longer affects allies, PvP-protected players, protected targets, or players hidden from the caster. It now ends safely after hitting terrain, changing worlds, dying, logging out, or losing the ability. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- Restored **Guardian’s Slam** at Sequence 5 with a 20-second cooldown. The user leaps into the air before producing a 6-block landing shockwave. Guardian’s Slam deals no damage, knocks enemies back, and applies Slowness for 2 seconds without applying Weakness. It no longer controls allies, protected targets, or players hidden from the caster, and its landing and shockwave effects stop safely if the ability is removed before completion. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- **Cage of Dawn** should now confine only valid hostile players; the caster, party members, PvP-protected players, and staff are no longer trapped or suppressed. Cage restrictions should now consistently cover movement, teleports, world changes, Chorus Fruit, tridents, Ender Pearls, and Wind Charges. Fixed multiple active cages edgacases and seevral bugs related to it. Dungeon related edgecases should also be fixed now. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)
- **Silver Armour** now preserves its Resistance, Strength, and Speed correctly while qualifying armour is equipped. Removing Silver Armour clears only effects created by Silver Armour, leaving matching effects from other sources intact. Its potion effects and knockback resistance now clean up correctly after unequipping armour, death, logout, deactivation, or pathway removal. — commission for Turtle13222 (Optuber)

- **Thought Misdirection** automatically spends **Eloquence** to redirect incoming melee and projectile attacks. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Mental Disruption** replaces **Deceit** with temporary blindness, nausea and darkness, camera disruption, or movement-control interference, with stronger effects at **Sequence 5** and an area-of-effect version at **Sequence 3**. (Farmerjoe)
- **Decryption** replaces only its **Resource mode** with **Dream Decryption**, which locates a sleeping player within 1,000 blocks and reveals their **pathway**, **Sequence**, **acting**, **honorific**, and **condition** while retaining **Location** and **Honorific Decryption**. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Decrypting Sight** gradually reveals random information about a player while they remain directly observed within 30 blocks. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)

- **Dream Disruption** passively protects the user from **divination** and **illusion-type abilities**. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Life Theft** steals a selected organ for one minute to inflict organ-specific effects, creates a damageable organ item that can extend the effect until the victim sleeps, supports prepared left-click thefts, and gains essential organs at **Sequence 4**. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Parasitism** now places the user or an Avatar **directly inside a host** instead of creating a separate parasite entity, with active parasites sharing the user’s **Avatar-slot limit**. **Initial Parasitism** hides the Parasite from **maps and divination** while allowing them to follow the host’s senses, inspect their inventory and condition, siphon health and Spirituality regeneration, survive the host’s death, and return to another body when the host disconnects. **Deep-Level Parasitism** becomes available after **three hours** against a weaker host and requires **five successful integration minigames** separated by five-minute intervals before the Parasite can directly control the host within Avatar range. **Deep-Level hosts** receive **hourly three-round removal opportunities** beginning at a **20% chance**, while failed rounds reduce the chance and block other removal methods for **one hour**. **Full Takeover** becomes available after **six hours of Deep-Level Parasitism** and begins a **best-of-five equal-gear duel** that can turn the host’s stolen identity into a new Avatar while temporarily removing **20% of the host’s Max Spirituality**. **Leave Body** becomes available after **one hour of Initial Parasitism** and abandons the host while stealing **one inventory item and one Beyonder ability**. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)

- **Distance** and **Position** Theft replaces the original **Distance Theft** with modes for storing up to 500 blocks of distance, gifting that distance as a random safe teleport, or swapping positions with a visible target within 200 blocks. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)

- **Spirituality Theft** steals up to **25% of a target’s Max Spirituality every 30 seconds** into a separate bank capped at the user’s Max Spirituality, with ability costs consuming the bank before personal Spirituality. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Identity Theft** gradually strips a nearby target’s **name, appearance, and revealed information** while they remain within **32 blocks**, with target attacks reducing progress and full completion killing the target. **Identity Theft** can be **cancelled or released by sneak-right-clicking** the ability. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Space Theft** has been **removed from the Error ability list** — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
- **Destiny Theft** marks a target for **five minutes** and prevents the user’s next death by transferring magic damage equal to **half the user’s Max Magic HP** to that target. — commission for LibraryOTotality (Farmerjoe)
