**Our minigames have been sitting empty. Not because they’re bad (I hope) - but because getting enough people into one at the same time was impossible. So we’ve stopped asking you to go to them, and started bringing them to you.**

From now on, matches are announced where you’re already standing. You click a button, you get pulled in, you play, and what you earn goes onto your **real** character.

---

## Why we’re changing this

Bedwars, Duels and FFA all share the same problem, and it isn’t the modes themselves.

They need a group of people present at the same moment. But nobody goes and waits in an empty lobby on the off-chance somebody else shows up - so nobody’s ever there, so nobody goes. Bedwars in particular needs 8, 12, 16 or even 32 people to be any good or fun, and it was getting two players staring at a countdown that never started.

Meanwhile everyone’s here on the main server, grinding, mostly alone.

So we’ve flipped it around. **Instead of you travelling to find a match, the match gets assembled around you.** Everyone gets asked at the same moment, everyone arrives at the same moment, and the lobby fills instantly instead of never.

And because the rewards land on your real character, playing one isn’t a detour from your progression - it *is* progression. A match is time spent advancing, not time spent away (*even if we don’t mention the fact that playing Beyonder-ish mini-games still decreases your acting cooldown*)

---

## What’s new

- **Bedwars events** - full matches, up to **32** players, announced on demand. Random Beyonder pathways, real Acting rewards.
- **Duels & FFA** - the same idea in short bursts. Quick to fill, quick to finish, and they pay Acting too. Something to break up a long grind session.

Both work the same way from your side: watch chat, click to join, get moved automatically, come back later as a winner.

## Bedwars events

### Joining

When an event opens you’ll see an announcement with a **`[ JOIN NOW ]`** button. Click it.

That’s the whole process. Carry on with what you were doing - you’ll be moved across automatically when the match actually begins.

If the button has scrolled away, or you reconnected since it appeared:

```
/mb event join
```

**Signing up commits you.** Once you’re on the list you *will* be moved when the match starts. There’s no confirmation prompt to ignore, so only click if you’re happy to be pulled into a game within the next couple of minutes. **If you click on it, get moved later, but were participating in a PvP event / were taking a stroll at Forgotten Land of The Gods - that’s totally on you!**

Signups stay open for **2 minutes**, with reminders as the window closes. A match needs **4 players minimum** and takes up to **32**. Events run at most once per several hours.

### What happens

1. **You click Join.** Nothing changes yet - keep playing.
2. **The match starts.** You’re moved over and dropped straight into the lobby. No menus, no map vote.
3. **You’re given a random pathway.** Everyone starts at **Sequence 9**, the weakest sequence, so nobody arrives with an advantage. You climb during the match by buying Arcane Elixirs from the shop.
4. **Play Bedwars.** Kills, final kills and bed breaks all push your progress along inside the match.
5. **It ends.** You’re shown exactly what you earned, then sent home - winners after a short celebration, everyone else with a **`[ RETURN HOME ]`** button, or automatically after 30 seconds.
6. **Your rewards land** on your real character as soon as you’re back.

Takes about as long as any normal Bedwars round!

### What you earn

Rewards are a **share of the progress to your next Sequence**, so they’re worth the same amount of real advancement whether you’re Sequence 8 or Sequence 3. High-Sequence characters don’t get a token gesture, and new Beyonders don’t get something absurd.

**Everyone** who plays gets **Acting progress**, plus one of:

- Time knocked off your next Acting method’s cooldown
- An **Acting Bottle** to use whenever you like
- A **Spirituality Potion** of different tier
- An **Acting speed boost** for the next half hour

**Winners** get roughly double the guaranteed Acting progress, and **two** bonus rolls instead of one - from a better pool:

- A much larger cut off your next Acting method’s cooldown
- A stronger, longer Acting speed boost
- An Acting gain multiplier
- A bigger Acting Bottle
- An **Acting Multiplier** item
- An **Ingredient Token**
- A **Recipe Token**
- A **Universal Potion Token**

**The match MVP** gets a third helping of Acting on top - but only if they earned it. You need a real contribution: **one bed break**, **one final kill**, or **three regular kills** as a minimum. Their bonus roll can produce two things nothing else in an event will:

- 🔮 **Anti-Control Charm**
- 📖 **Ritual Book I - III**

Both are announced server-wide with the winner’s name attached. If you see that message go past, somebody just had a very good match.

---

## Duels & FFA

Same principle, smaller scale.

Duels and FFA were not as abandoned, but rather empty-ish for exactly the same reason Bedwars was - a mode nobody’s in is a mode nobody joins. So they’re recruited the same way now: announced in chat, one click to join, moved automatically, dropped straight back afterwards.

The difference is scale. These fill in seconds rather than minutes and finish quickly, and **they pay Acting as well**. They’re not meant to replace a full Bedwars match - they’re there so a grind session has something in it besides grinding. A couple of minutes of actual PvP, some progress on your bar, straight back to what you were doing.

Watch chat for them the same way.

---

## Your real character is completely safe

Worth being told about, because it’s the obvious worry:

**Nothing in any of these modes touches your real pathway, your real Sequence, or your real progress. Dying there, mutating or regressing will not cost you anything**

The pathway you’re given for a Bedwars match is a temporary loadout. It exists for the length of the game and is discarded afterwards. Your actual character is set aside untouched and handed straight back - including if you disconnect mid-match, or if the server restarts underneath you.

You cannot lose progress by playing. The only direction it moves is up.

## Not a Beyonder yet?

Well, play anyway - you still get paid!

Anything that would have been Acting progress is converted into **items you keep**, ready for the day you awaken. Nothing is wasted and nothing expires waiting for you.

---

## Earning rewards: the rules

These apply across all the modes. None of them will catch out anyone who’s actually playing.

- **You need to have taken part.** To earn anything you must be in the match for at least **2 minutes**, do at least *one* thing (a kill, a bed, even a shop purchase counts), and not have been standing still for most of it. Camping spawn or AFK’ing earns nothing, even playing badly earns plenty.
- **Losing still pays.** Everyone who took part is rewarded. Winning is better; showing up and fighting is never wasted.
- **Disconnecting is fine.** If your connection drops or the server hiccups, you keep everything you earned. Same if you die and choose to spectate the rest of the round - that’s just how these modes are played.
- **Walking out mid-match is not.** Deliberately leaving a game that’s still running forfeits your reward for it. Finish the round, or get eliminated honestly.
- **There’s a daily ceiling.** After a lot of matches in one day you’ll start getting the basic participation reward only, and eventually nothing until tomorrow. You’ll be told when it happens - it isn’t a bug. Realistically you won’t see it.
- **Small matches don’t pay.** Below the minimum player count nobody earns anything, so two friends can’t quietly farm it between them.

## Quick answers

**Do I need to install or set up anything?**

No. Click the button.

**Can I bring my gear?**

No, and you don’t need to. Everything is provided, and your own inventory stays exactly as you left it.

**What if I’m in the middle of something?**

Don’t click Join. You’re moved when the match *starts*, not when you sign up - so only opt in if you’re free in the next couple of minutes.

**What if it fills up before me?**

You’ll be told immediately that the slots are gone. Nothing else happens and you carry on playing.

**Can I watch instead of playing?**

If you’re eliminated you can spectate the rest of the round, then head home when you’re ready.

**How often do these run?**

Bedwars at most once per several hour. Duels and FFA more often - they’re the quick ones.

**Where did my rewards go?**

Applied automatically when you get back, with a summary in chat listing exactly what you got and how much. If your inventory was full the items are held safely for your next login, not dropped.

**See ya on the bridge!**
