For a long time, we were burying developers and testers in 10-page Google Docs for single changes, letting support tickets sit in an endless unified queue, and leaving our Bedrock players with a stripped-back version of the visual experience our Java community gets. It was messy, it was slow, and frankly, you all deserve better. So, take a peek at today’s changes listed below!
Starting today, three major systems across our network and web platform have been completely overhauled.
| System | Key Highlights |
|---|---|
| 🎨 Bedrock Support | Full parity for custom textures, GUIs, titles, and prefixes. |
| 🎫 Ticket Overhaul | Issue-based routing, automated staff reminders, and auto-cleanup. |
| 💼 Web Commissions | Tens of Google Docs replaced with web panel tracking, fixed slot ratios, and live Discord status updates. |
🎨 Full Bedrock Resource Pack Support
We believe every player on Mysterria should have the exact same visual experience, regardless of whether they log in from a PC, phone, or console.
Bedrock Edition now natively supports the full server resource pack!
- Visual Parity: Bedrock players now see custom item textures, custom GUIs, unique titles, and prefixes exactly as Java players do.
- What’s Next: We are actively seeking opportunities to add support for custom mobs and animated items, which will be rolling out in an upcoming patch!

🎫 Streamlined Ticket & Support System
No more tickets sitting unread at the bottom of a 30-ticket pile for three days. I’ve overhauled our support backend to route your issues directly to the staff members who can actually solve them. Some of you may have already noticed the changes!
📢 How the new ticket flow works:
When you open a ticket, you’ll pick the specific category of your issue. The ticket will automatically drop into a queue visible only to the role qualified to handle it (Heralds, Emissaries, Developers, or the entity above them all).
System Highlights:
- It uses role-based routing. General questions go straight to Heralds, complex player issues to Emissaries, technical bugs to Developers, and administrative matters straight to the top.
- One-click escalation if needed. Staff can easily escalate or de-escalate tickets between tiers if a problem requires higher authority or can be handled by a lower role.
- Smart reminders. If a ticket goes unanswered for some time, the bot intelligently picks an online, active staff member (respecting DND status and current activity) to send a friendly reminder. If still unresolved, it pings the whole team later, or even escalates directly to the top if not answered until then.
- Inactivity is auto-close reason now. Inactive tickets receive a closing notice after 24 hours and will automatically close and archive after 48 hours.

💼 Reworked Commissions & Web Notifications
Say goodbye to massive 10-page Google Docs and lost discord messages. Commissions are now fully integrated into the Mysterria website and tied directly into specialized Discord channels.
Commission Rules & Limits
To keep work manageable for developers and fair for players, commissions now follow a strict structure. One commission slot allows you to submit:
- 2 Major Changes, OR
- 6 Minor Changes, OR
- An equivalent custom combination of Major and Minor changes.
The New Workflow
- Submit via Web: Design your commission on the website with clear scopes, change descriptions, motivations, and lore references.

- Staff Review: Developers and testers review the request in dedicated channels and can approve, decline, or request a rescope if the request is too large.

- Live Status Pipeline: Track your commission directly in your website profile (above transaction history) or via live Discord bot notifications.

- Developer Assignment: Upon approval, a specific developer is assigned directly to your ticket, allowing us to track progress transparently.
- Instant Deployment: Once marked as completed, you’ll be notified, and the full chat history/transcript is saved automatically.

Looking Forward
I hope these changes will make your time on Mysterria smoother, whether you’re opening a support ticket, commissioning new content, or just enjoying custom visuals on Bedrock.
We will be actively tuning ping sensitivities, quiet hours, and workflows over the next few days. If you spot any bugs or have feedback, feel free to try out the new ticket system and let us know!
