Let’s begin by recalling the fundamental information we will be operating with today.
Acting is the core mechanism by which Beyonders digest their current potion and advance to the next sequence. Every normal pathway has one acting method per sequence (9 through 1). When a player performs the method’s specific in-game action, their acting bar fills. At 100%, the potion is considered fully digested. Outer pathways (Aeon, Devouring, Inevitability) use Sacrifice instead and do not utilize an acting bar.
The Problem - Endgame Stagnation
While the current system technically performs its function, the bottleneck lies heavily in endgame acting. At higher sequences, the percentage gained per action is too low, and the cooldown between each act is too massive.
This creates a frustrating loop where players feel encouraged to stay logged onto the server 24/7, actively trying to bypass AFK detection just to wait out timers. It’s a tedious loop for you, and empty player counts aren’t what we want for the server.
However, fixing this isn’t as simple as just speeding it up. The advancement curve needs to follow a geometric progression so that reaching a high sequence actually feels like a massive milestone and a genuine achievement.
So, what is the solution?
A Decentralized Acting Bar
We have designed a complex overhaul that is currently undergoing thorough testing and will be hitting the live server very soon.

Instead of the acting bar being a monolith relying on a single source of truth, it has been divided into several independent progression streams. Each stream has a strict cap on how much of the total 100% it can contribute. To achieve a full digestion, you will actually need to combine multiple types of content:
| Progression Source | Maximum Contribution | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Ability Gameplay | Up to 50% | The existing, pathway-specific acting methods. |
| Acting Bottles | Up to 30% | Consumable items to boost your progression. |
| Player Interaction | Up to 20% | Active PvP engagement and specific player-focused bounties. |
| World Content | Up to 20% | Dungeons, world bosses, and server-wide events. |
| Passive Progress | Up to 10% | Slow, baseline digestion over time. |
Note 1: Your current progress will be converted to a new system, not lost, so don’t be scared! Also these categories and values are not final and may change as we further add and adjust the content. Which may even happen directly after the feature release, keep that in mind!
Note 2: Because the individual caps total more than 100%, you have the flexibility to skip content loops you dislike while still being able to hit your maximum digestion.
Daily & Randomized Bounties
To support this new system, we are introducing Bounties - repetitive, randomized quests that reward a direct percentage of acting upon completion. These quests feed into either the World Content or Player Interaction caps.
At launch, the following bounty types will be available:
- ⚔️ Deadly Duel: Face off against a randomly selected player target. (The target can decline; the winner claims the acting bonus).
- 🔮 Uniqueness Disruption: Cast a series of random spells on a designated Uniqueness Holder.
- 🩸 Ritual Sacrifice: Sacrifice N random items near specific (X, Y, Z) coordinates.
- 🏃 Pilgrimage: Travel a specified distance using unique movement types (e.g., crawling, flying).
- 💀 Monster Hunt: Exterminate N mobs of a specific entity type near designated (X, Y, Z) coordinates.

This pool of bounties will be continuously expanded and enhanced in future patches.
What About Downtime?
The core goal of this update is to ensure that even if you are waiting for your primary acting method cooldown to expire, you always have active tasks to pursue to piece together your 100% digestion from alternative sources.
As a final teaser: Mythical BedWars is returning soon with a major twist. Your playtime in the minigame will be entirely synchronized with the main server. Every hour you spend demolishing your enemies in BedWars will count directly toward your main server acting cooldowns with 100% efficiency.
Stay tuned for a dedicated article detailing the BedWars launch very soon!
